Top 4 Mental Health Resources to try

Admit it or not, most of us reading this needs such resources. You won’t talk about it openly, in the fear of being judged or ridiculed upon. It’s still a taboo in most places. Here are some resources you can try out if you are having a hard time, all free (ranked in no order):-

4. What’s Up?- Mental Health App

Link: What’s Up?- Mental Health App. This is an all in one app if you struggle with anxiety or depression a lot. Having a surge of emotions right now and need help ASAP? You have the ‘Help Right Now’ option with breathing exercise, grounding tasks and more to help you on the spot. For long term help, you have information on unhelpful thinking patterns, journal, affirmation and much more. All free.

3. Clarity: CBT Self Help Journal

Link: Clarity: CBT Self Help Journal. Most times when we are overwhelmed with emotions, we can’t think clearly. You may hesitate to talk about it with others. Solution? Write it down. Journaling is one of the best ways to feel better and have clarity in your thoughts instantly. When you write down, you process your words in the back of your mind. You start to settle down. CBT is one of the most popular methods and this app combines it with journaling. Try it out, thank me later.

2. Character.Ai

Link: Character. Ai. This is the most weirdest of options in the whole list. Install this app, search therapist and so on, have a chat and you will be outright surprised. Yes it is AI but the responses it give are actually pretty helpful and you may get a new perspective on your issues. Caution, remember this isn’t an actual therapist and just AI.

1. 7 cups of tea

Link: 7 cups of tea. I seriously don’t get why this app isn’t more popular. This app is free of cost. It has listeners from various countries who will listen to you. You can filter listeners based on the country and issues you are dealing with. Remember, they are not psychologist or so, just normal people like everyone else who have volunteered to listen on the platform. Their training asks them to avoid giving advices but they are human, so they will indeed help like a human. It’s completely anonymous. There are also group chats. What more do you need.

If this post was of any help to you, I’ll be glad! Thank You!
